400 V8 and loaded up. Great colors in and out for just $2500. I'm seeing A/C, power windows and locks, Rally II wheels, tilt and cruise, AM/FM, velour upholstery and power antenna. Very nice looking! http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/4614739293.html
Nice! Exterior wise, looks like all it lacks is luggage rack (I see the ribs though?) and cornering lamps.
I'll bet that Poncho would clean up real nice. Not a bad price; think I might have seen a cigarette burn or two in the velour.
Even me a smoker, burns in seats is a instant turn off for me and considering I see it on the passenger seat...I'd completely loose it on who ever if it were my car. Then again, I also don't let people smoke in my cars, I do but only when I'm alone. Deb's car, no smoking period.
I can't get it to come up on my cruddy internet. HUGHSNET in case anyone wants to buy it for $80 a month or more.:banghead3: I have never let anyone smoke in my house or cars. We've never had an ashtray in our house. The ashtrays in my cars are full of change or broken ear rings. I'm rough on ear rings! But if I bought this or any other wagon that was smoked in I'd buy a dozen little cardboard Pine Tree fresheners and drive with the windows down. Or borrow my aunt's perfume.......... Whooooooeeee!
I've probably purchased a vehicle that belonged to a former smoker. But if so, I couldn't tell - must have been an excellent detail job. If I detect the slightest bit of 'smoker's odor', or discolored interior panels, that's an immediate deal breaker right there.
I've owned a couple of used cars I bought to flip that had been owned by smokers. I remember steam cleaning the upholstery and carpets, and airing them out in the garage. Plus I remember sprinkling baking soda on the carpet and leaving it for several days to absorb odors and then vacuuming. They were acceptable-smelling when done, to all except perhaps someone with a very sensitive nose.
