1977 Dodge Royal Monaco Brougham Another no pics ad. $1000. Said to be rust free. 1977 was the last year for the full-size Royal Monaco, and I don't believe very many were produced. Might be worth calling about by anyone who wants one of the very last gargantuan Mopar wagons. I've always liked the hidden headlight front ends on these. http://tricities.craigslist.org/cto/3733142999.html It would look like this.
Wow, I was about to say how rare it is and I have not seen one in person that I can ever recall and realize that this car is about 20 miles from me! I am about 22 miles from Johnson City. I wouldn't mind having a running classic 70s wagon, but need to focus on getting my Caprice wagon running. I have a very busy schedule, but if anyone here may be interested in it I may be able to go look at it if you will call the owner and get details and location and if you want me to look at it, let them know and set up a good time. At that price, that car may be in demo danger!
The woodgrain sides mean this is a Royal Monaco Brougham making it that much more rare of a 1977 Dodge. The 400 V8 would have been standard with the 440 optional.
This is what a beautiful and very rare 1977 Dodge Royal Monaco Brougham station wagon should look like!
These are stunning and stunningly rare cars, so if this one is in anything approaching decent shape it would be well worth saving. The Royal Monaco Brougham was very close to the Town & Country in terms of luxury, and with the right options, every bit the equal of the T&C, just much less common.
I hope not. We don't have many derbies around here, but someone far off would have paid $$$$ for that one! I know it. I wish I could have at least seen it, but it was already gone because if it sold day #1, it was 3 days later before I seen it.
