When I was younger and these cars were everywhere I didn't care for their styling at all. Now they seem to have grown on me. This one looks like a nice example.
I tend to agree, but I have to say that I never really liked the "all-the-lights-are-in-the-bumper" back ends on these cars. That vast expanse of tailgate below the rear window just screams for a light or reflector or some kind of trim strip or something.
The thing I remember about these is the weak door hinges, leading to sagging doors and window leaks. Rode in a ton of these as a kid. Also the rear plastics in the cargo area all turned to chalk.
Nice looking example, oddly optioned with Power Locks but not Power windows, I agree not the best looking examples and the rectangular headlights did nothing for the front end of the Buick or Chevy models. I think the later A-body wagons are better looking, but the 73-77 models are better cars & wagons. Much more useful hauling things. And the rear doors windows roll down! The colors also do not help this example at all, reminds me of my old rusty 77 Century wagon, same colors. It was also butt ugly, maybe more so than this one.
