Looks like a loaded option car. Does this one have the Brougham interior some folks screech about on here?
I save my screeching for Landau Luxury Group interiors. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima This one is very nice, but I'm not crazy about silver with woodgrain. Probably looks much better in person. David
hey, hey, hey Looking good to me---and, no, silver is not usually a with woodie color. But, it don't look too bad.
Yeah it appears to have the "Brougham" interior which was the cream of the crop interior option up until 1975, which I think was the first year for the "Landau" interior option that Wixom mentioned. With that said, starting in '75, the Brougham interior was a luxury option, but there was a step higher with the Landau option. See pic below of the Landau interior...
is rite, I thought these were leather back then..... mind you I've never been in a fancy shmancy one like this. My 78 LTD wagon was bare bones, so poverty it didn't even have hub caps
On these wagons, the Brougham interior package was the same as the Landau Interior on the 2 and 4 door cars. The same as the top line interior on the Colony Park was the same as the Grand Marquis sedan and interior. Personally, I prefer the shape of the Ford seats. This is one gorgeous wagon. Not often are you going to see one with this level of equipment, with this level of originality, and in this condition. I'm not fond of the Ford silver, and man, it takes a LOT of work to keep it looking good, but this is a great looking car, never mind the colour.
76 Squire wagon WOW !!! This ended as a buy it now for $7,500 It looked nice from the photos. But silver just seemed so weird on a Country Squire.
I'd say a good looking car for a decent price. That gorgeous jade green '77 Country Squire with leather went for nearly $10k when it sold recently.
