I'd say too far gone. 1975 Cadillac Castilian Wagon - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... (craigslist.org)
I don’t think it’s too far gone, especially for what it is. I think that somebody who is really into these large Cadillacs should save it. There were many different types of Cadillac wagons made back in the 70s. My personal favorite are the clamshell conversions. The only thing wrong with those is some of them have an odd shaped C pillar.
Eh, I take exception to the guy's comments about how much it'll be worth when it's done. A car with provenance to a celebrity in factory fresh condition, sure. This car once restored? You'd be hard pressed to make your money back. And this car looks like it's sat a long while in TN, which is not great for the rust situation in every single crevice...
Worth $80,000 after you buy this turd for $14,000 and dump a $125 to make it look like new. I agree too far gone. Sometimes cars are rare for a reason.
