This one for sale is truly very close to one of the Brady wagons, although the one pictured here is probably a '71 or '72 model.
That's a '72 model. The '71s had clear rectangular running lights inboard of the headlights on the grill. I actually think the 1972-'74 models had a much cleaner look.
that is the 1st thing i thought of when i saw the wagon for sale. Mike had a new car every season, i think Carol only had 2 wagons over the series. This one and the one in earlier season, the one the took to the grand canyon
Actually she had a ‘69 when the series debuted, you didn’t see it that often, but she had a ‘70, ‘71, and the ‘72 in the first picture. I think they skipped to a ‘74 at the tail end of the series. All Plymouths even after Mike transitioned to Chevy Impala, Caprice convertibles in late ‘72.
Yes I always wondered about that, about how he was able to transition to Chevrolets and yet the station wagon remained a Plymouth. In television and movies generally they went with one make due to sponsorship
found this on line. Mike Brady: 1968 blue Dodge Polara convertible 1969 Plymouth Fury III convertible also blue 1970 Plymouth Fury III convertible in blue 1970 blue Plymouth Barracuda convertible 1971 blue Plymouth Barracuda convertible 1972 blue Chevrolet Impala convertible 1973 red Chevrolet Caprice convertible 1974 dark red Chevrolet Caprice convertible (the one Greg and Marcia used for their "driving test").
Kinda like Joe Mannix and a mishmash of Mopar and GM vehicles. Also on MeTV, Perry Mason had a mix of GM and FoMoCo vehicles.
