WOW! That looks stunning! I'm wondering if that's a factory color? My paint book only goes to 1971.

They had a color Emerald green in ‘73. It seems to me it was a half a shade darker, but that could be the lighting or perhaps a repaint, but yes that color was a ‘73 color.

I don't see a 350. Sure looks like the good old (and weak) 305. Maybe I am wrong, do not claim to be an Olds expert.

If it is factory original for 1990, it would be the anemic 307. The 305 would be an improvement.

If it's original, as stated it's a 307. You could easily put a 350 Olds in place of the 307 with all of the existing equipment on top to make it look factory correct, and the C4 carburetor system could even run a 350 without too many modifications without too much trouble. You'd *really* want to change the 307 exhaust manifolds as they were tiny and sad even for the 307 and would strangle a 350.

That said, I'm way more inclined to believe it's a 307 and not a 350 because I don't trust folks to know something or not lie.

Pretty much every option on this car (the '73). It even has the often-maligned Comfortron A/C which buyers usually didn't spring for unless they were buying a 98. Split front seat with power seats on both sides. Power tailgate of course. Cruise control. Power windows and locks. Aftermarket DIN-style radio, which means he had to cut into the dash, so no going back to an original knob-style radio.

    Love it.

Here's the 1973 Olds paint chip chart. The car's color would be the Emerald Green Poly, left column, third from the bottom (#42).

I don't think it is a factory match, might be the lighting?

I don’t know if anyone actually went through the ad pictures but yes the car has been repainted.

    Here is why

    1) if you look close you can tell the car is not single stage paint. It is 2 stage base coat/clear coat paint

    2) There are pictures of the doors open and you can see the dullness of the doors jambs and the paint is darker

    3) Does it really matter though? It’s a killer car. I get told all the time my car isn’t original, never came in that color and I did a great job in repainting it

I have the original build sheet, I have the paint sample sheet from the dealer, my data code on my data tag matches my paint code and they still don’t believe me.

Is what it is though 5B85B39B-B269-48EC-B0AA-61C9A0FEA9EC.png

I know yours is a factory color. I had an Aunt and Uncle with a 4door Delta 88 Royale that same green. I loved that car.

Nice car but for $33000 you'd think they would repair the driver's seat.
