Yeah, it looks like the mileage is so low because it was stuck in a slough for most of its life......

The odometer says 9700 miles but its gotta be on its 2nd or 3rd time around. no way is that only 9700 true miles unless it was parked on a swamp.

CruzerDog also has a '73 Vega wagon that shows us just how nice these sweet little wagons can be.

    I don't see a price on it .. or did I miss it ?

I would like his roof rack ....:thumbs2:

mine has 81,000 true original miles ...

WA cars scare me ... r-u-s-t-y :yikes:

the survivor rate is real low on Vegas --
    they are either rusty
or on race track with a V-8 stuffed in them:slap:

mine hums along like a Singer Sewing Machine ...(who needs a 454 anyway?:naughty:)

T'was after seeing Cruizer's wagon that I went in search and found the yellow one. So far there has been very little in the way of decent ones pop up. I'd forgotten all about these lil guys. Really like them.

There's not many of them left. I had a black '76 GT wagon, but the motor was shot. I stuck a stock 307/auto and drove it. Took it to the track once and ran a 14.00 flat. You don't need much motor to get these little guys rolling.

I think it may be true about the miles. At less then 50,000 miles these Vegas were famous for blowing head gaskets. Once the all alumunum motor overheated it would warp and couldnt be fixed.
