This seems like a good candidate for one of those Youtube videos "Will it run after sitting 40 years?" There are a ton of those videos, and I must say I am drawn to them. Some of them are actually kind of neat.
It needs a lot of work, but that's a decent price for that car. Being from Nevada, it should be fairly rust free too. Looks like it was a B5 blue car (arguably my favourite Mopar colour) with a matching interior. This'd be a nice wagon when done up right. There's just something very satisfying about seeing an old car that has sat for decades come back to life. I just watched a video the other day of a 1940 Dodge with a flathead straight 6 that the owner got running again. Several of the valves were sticking, but he removed the head and got them working again. After that, it fired up and ran, and idled like brand new. I have seen several cars that had seized engines that were freed up and driven away from where they sat for years. It's amazing how many of those old engines can come right back to life.
The period correct under dash eight track and CB are pretty cool looking. I also like those videos where they try to get all the old vehicles running again. Sometimes though I do wonder if they’ve really been sitting as long as they say they have been sitting. You would think the corrosion and damage would be worse. But hey, maybe not
