1971 Dodge Coronet Crestwood

    Neat car. I wonder if it originally had woodgrain? Its the Coronet Crestwood and the "Crestwood" models were the top of the line Coronet model wagons and normally had woodgrain if I recall (and that is the info given in the 1972 Dodge sales brochure).

    Also, the way the chrome trim is on the car also signals that the car MAY have had woodgrain unless it was a special order car with woodgrain delete.

    I've never seen one of these without woodgrain, but back then, dealers had more flexibility with special orders. So anything is possible. However, my guess is that the original woodgrain was faded, so it was removed, maybe right before a repaint.
