Why is it that you rarely see the 71 Kingswood come up with wood? And again, if you were looking at buying this, it would be nice if the seller added what extras it has like A/C or third row etc in the write up. At least it is reasonably priced though.

He says this in the ad:

"The Kingswood is sometimes called the Nova Wagon."

Really? Who has called it this? I've never heard this.

Someone that knows nothing about old wagons, or old cars at all for that matter. A Nova? LOL. Nothing like the "Brady wagon" either. They had a brown Plymouth Satellite Regent wagon, not a green Chevy Impala wagon. ;)

This would apply more to the Partridge Family wagons over the years...

Now for the '72 season, they did have a Concours Estate, but all other years was an Impala wagon, except a Caprice wagon in '70...

Good stuff Kingswood, love your work!

How cool is that 72 in the blue that Shirley Partridge is getting out of with the very dark perhaps blue interior. Amazing cars when they were new.

    Cheers Mike.

And also I can count 4 VW's (including the Kombi) in the car park in the long shot. Just goes to show that the small car revolution was well on its way right when GM was building its biggest wagon ever, and even before the oil crisis of 73 took shape.

    Nice time capsule.
