Looks nice. If the price is reflective of the current value, though, I need to up the insurance value on mine. I'm thinking the asking price might be a bit optimistic.

It's exactly the model and year that I "long" for... get it?

However, it is not in the cards for me at this point. This car could use some TLC but it would be a keeper in any shape.

    Value for the money.

Think of it this way, at an asking price of $13,988, it's about $3/lb.
    That's cheaper than lean hamburger!

I love the body style on these wagons.:thumbs2: Looking closely it's a nice car but, not a $14,000 car. Not to me anyway.

It is a really nice car. Who ever did the seats did a very good quality job. Just too bad they went with such an obviously incorrect fabric. Unless they are seat covers over the original. If it is as original as they claim, and it may well be, the bit of wear is very minor indeed, and should not have that much impact on the value. That said, I do think they are about $4,000 over value on this car. My bet is $10,000 at the very top of the market.

Precisely the number I was thinking of. I do hope those are seat covers. I would hate to have to replace both seats!

I'd say more like 5K tops for that car, needs a lot and every "lot" costs a grand at the least, no getting around it, it's the golden rule of car restoration.:D I wouldn't pay over 3500 for it, but then again I don't buy Fords either.:D
No offense but I attended the Henry Ford school of hard knocks as a young gearhead and learned my lesson as a youth, came home smelling like oil smoke every day.:D:D:D:D

Love the body style and look but those god awful seats? What were they thinking? I see lots of little things that can add up plus if the car came from Ohio what does it look like underneath?

I'm with BlueVista on this one.. Too many 'lots' to be addressed...

And given it has not much in options.. Only AM radio, no cruise, no power locks
    or windows,, no tilt...

The seats are probably more comfy than the originals but come on,,
wud up wid that funky fabric ....

Lots of potential, Get the suspension up where it belongs, fix some of the detail problems and get rid of the awful upholstery and you got a nice ride. But price needs to be much lower to allow for all the fixes needed.
