I would think for 14,5K I wouldn't have to find the correct wheel or cigarette lighter.Maybe it's just me but he's asking top money and it should need nothing. Tom
Perfect? No, but as the saying goes, try to find another one. If you like it, buy it at a good price and correct the faults. Beats this one which is the only other 1970 Chevrolet to come close recently. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/carsforsale/chevrolet/chevelle/1705717.html
Hmm, she has potential. Could use front seat cover, carpet, new wood grain, steering wheel, front bumper is dinged up, and rear cargo cover is in poor condition. I spoke to him this morning and he would swap out the wheels for a set of 8" rally wheels. Paint is in good condition but has a few areas that need help (small rust bubble). Great driver wagon. It's on my list of wagons to possibly purchase. Wish is was closer to Atlanta.
Your missing the point here.At 14,500 why should you have to? I see you don't think it's worth the money either. Tom
I would offer 10K for it and go to 12- if I wanted it for myself... If you want a 454 Wagon it is a good example and they all need something...
I have to agree. At that dollar value, the car should be near perfect. Although it appears that the car has lived it's life in a dry salt-free climate, I'd like to see clear pics of the underside. With this all said, I do like the car, and if I lived closer, I'd be making arrangements to take a closer look as I like the '70 model year. Sadly, shipping cars cross country isn't my cup of tea anymore. (for the right car though...I just might lol) -Andrew
I agree! I too find the 1970 year to be one of my favorites. However, I am "done" with shipping cars cross country...too costly.
Exactly, you'll not find perfection on 45 year old car, outside of a museum piece. This one has a lot going for it. If you like it, make an offer - most sellers don't expect to get asking price.
Yep, it has Comfortron A/C, as well as power windows it appears. I wonder if it has the 3rd seat? If it where mine, the steering wheel would go, as would the aftermarket wheels. Also, he is not correct in what he has... this is not an Impala Kingswood as he calls it... it is a Caprice Kingswood Estate.
