It’s a shame about the color change. The blue just doesn’t look right with the Dark Saddle interior. The replacement woodgrain is also too glossy. Otherwise a nice example of a one year only Estate Wagon. You rarely see these come up for sale.

 

Yeah I don’t know who in the world thought that blue with the brown interior would be an uplift. Not even sure that’s close to a ‘70 Buick color. But I guess it will either pay off or not. You’re exactly right about the oddity of these wagons coming up. Thought it was odd that Buick would have brought out a one year only big wagon before a major new platform. Perhaps they wanted to get the public used to the idea of a big Buick wagon.

Right. I get there were probably a zillion of them that color. I will guarantee this is the only on that blue, and certainly with a brown interior.

 

That car would look great in a shade of medium brown

 

I love that blue but it absolutely does not go with that brown interior.
