Yep.. My first car was a 1970 Galaxie 2 door with a 351 in that same color :)

(I like that wagon.. would be a great tow vehicle for my vintage camper)

Didn't think the price was out of line, either.

In Ford parlance, I believe that color was known as Lime Gold. I bought a 1969 Thunderbird in that color from the original owner in 1981 as my first car when I was in high school. It had the 429 and would really move for a big, heavy car.

Is that a 1970 or 1971 'Bird? I always really liked that fastback design.

Is that the model that had the radio or climate controls on the left side of the steering wheel? Can't remember which, but always thought that was cool. Keeps kids and wives from messing with the car while driving!!

Always thought the same thing. I HATE when people touch my radio.

That the dash I was remembering. Radio on the left. Fantastic idea!!

Like the T-bird too! The roof on those looked chopped from the factory. Also a neat design!

Note to self: Be sure to readjust Tom's radio off the 50's station if I ever ride in his wagon. (y)

My iPod's plugged in lol! Nothing on there but 50's tunes and Classic Country. Currently listening to 'Cruisin' 1956.'
