Ran when parked in 2003, so sitting for 15 years and looking like it has been through two wars. I think the price is off by TWO decimal points. $75 would be about right for this car.

Plus if sold in California, the buyer would be responsible for all the unpaid registration fees for the last 15 years!

You beat me to the tail light guards over those often broken 1969 protruding tail lights!

They used to sell replacement taillight lenses in the JC Whitney catalog.

As far as I can see, the body looks pretty straight. It needs paint and new woodgrain, of course. The interior is just about totally shot. For $500 (tops) it might just be a good resto candidate, although it wouldn't be an easy resto as there are very few repro parts available, the NOS supply has pretty well dried up, and these are long gone from junkyards.

Looks perfect for the next Mad Max remake/sequel.

Seller is nuts. I sent him a response with a link to a fairly nice '66 Squire going for $6,500..........

Well, he lowered the price to a degree; now it's at $5,500.

...and looks like it hasn't caught a wink of sleep, since then. I wonder if those lids shut

Still too high for the condition.

After sending him my e-mail, I got response from the seller.
All he said was, "MY wagon's not a '66......"
    Yeah, OK, buddy......

    What a joke! :rofl2:

You beat me to the off road taillight covers Tedy.

This ad has so much to give! It also includes one of my pet peeve CL lines "ran when parked"
The only thing that could make it better would be if the seller added something to the affect of "I know what I have, no low ballers" or "I don't need to sell, just testing the waters"
