tigabeast was looking for the rear corner mounts on a 1969 for his airdamed Ford wagon. I forgot that Bob asked me first.

I'll tell ya, its a lot stronger looking than mine is, and I sure like that cargo length adjustable slider crossbar.

You should see that car in the winter (yeah, I've been there in -30). It forms the longest rectangular ski-hill around. Somebody should grab the engine (orignal 390) and the rear seats. And the wood trim, too.

Canada Post's parcel service is the cheapest and it goes through your US Postal service, who are the best, as far as I'm concerned. Second to that is UPS or DHL. Ground is cheaper and slower by one or two days. You'll need a box about 7' X 7" X 66" long. Padded on both ends (like an inch of styrofoam per end, and tape all the long bars together. A smaller box for the corners to go inside the big one, 6.5" X 6.5" X 5" deep also padded with newspaper. A small concrete forming cardboard sona tube about 8" diameter might do better, so that whatever else is on their loads (USPS/UPS/DHL) doesn't crush or bend the rack bars inside.

My guess is it'll weigh around 60 lbs with the container.

I was there yesterday, and Shane told me it left a while ago, with his buddy, down your way. Hope it made it alright. :thumbs2:

Greyhound is another shipping option for bulkier items.

    Norman:

Sorry for the late reply, I was up in Wisconsin where the wagon is being restored. I was able to work out a deal with Shane's friend, and the rack was delivered. I saw the rack last week , and as you had mentioned, it was in really good condition. My restorer is going to paint the portion of the rack that was wood grained, he will use the same original gold(code S) for this, and it should look real sharp.

Again, I can't thank you enough for all your help, I'll post pictures of the wagon when the restoation is completed next spring.
