Don't you know? Surfing is really big in Wyoming. Sheeze, save the money for the surf boards and take a few more pics. Other than being a stupid ad it looks solid from the one picture they have. mike
No mention of engine, interior options, or anything else. Nice looking wagon, but I suspect rust repair behind the front wheel, and who knows where else. Needs WAY more and way better pictures!
302 V8 which is surprising. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968...2201502?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3a7fcc581e
Could be a neat wagon san's the Cragars, Lime gold paint and small block. Would look great blk. / blk. with FE power.
The colour I like, and the Cragars I could live with but only if the tires had white walls. The 302 is a maybe.
Advert reads: 1968 Ford Country Squire "Surf Wagon." Numbers matching car with 302, FMX transmission, and 3.25 limited slip 9 inch. 3 owner car with 74000+ original miles. I have this car titled in my name with 68372 miles. This is a SURVIVOR car. This car was bought new in Chicago, Illinois and before me and my wife bought it, it spent its last 25+ years in New Mexico. This is the ultimate cruiser. I added an Edelbrock intake and a Holley Carburator. The plugs, wires, hoses, belts, brakes, exhaust, radiator, shocks, gauges, and tires have all been replaced within 5000 miles. I would drive this car ANYWHERE. We took it to Denver in October to purchase the Surf Boards and did not have any problems. The spare tire has never been on the ground. The body is RUST FREE and super straight. The only not original panel is the hood which was replaced by the previous owner. The interior is amazing and the only problems are a small crack in the dash and a small rip in the front seat on the driver side. The hidden headlights work great and it runs like a top. I have all the original paper work for this car including the build sheet. I hate to sell it, but I want to redo my high school car and my wife says this is the only way! If you have any questions, please call me @ 605-490-1950. Given he states "small" and the pic shows a decent size patch that is ripping apart and a dash pad so dash "crack' is not shown....
68 squire I think the seller is having friends throw-in bids. I mean really. OVER a week left to go on the auction and it's that high and reserve not met. It just says shill all over it ! my 2 cents
