http://greenbay.craigslist.org/cto/3921419917.html This car is all original, it has a 400 c.i. 2 bbl engine with dual exhaust. The only modification that has been done is the window tinting, which can easily be removed. It starts and runs great! The transmission shifts nice and smooth. The body is solid for the most part with some rust here and there. I do have a third seat for it (although it was not originally equipped with one. It must be seen and driven to be appreciated as to how mice it is for its age. It is located at Auto Clinic of Green Bay, 632 Bellevue St. You can see it there anytime. Call Jon to set up a time to take it for a drive. (920) 562-018five
I believe that is a 2 tone car, not a vinyl roof car. if it is it is a rare beast. Not my favorate year of big Pontiac Styling though.
I saw a stunner Catalina wagon at last night's local cruise-in, a '66 I believe. Red with white painted top. Best part was the drivetrain which the owner claims was factory installed; 421 tri-power with 4-speed manual transmission! I'll have to shoot some pics next time I see it.
It's got those neat spinner wheel covers on it too, I bet that will come back to snuff with a minimum of effort. Too bad no interior pictures though.
Good eye on the seldom seen "custom wheel discs" Hub Caps. But I have always preferred the 8 lug wheels, officially called the Aluminum wheel hub and drum in this page from the 67 accessory brochure.
Oh, those eight lug wheels are so cliche', totally done to death. LOL Just kidding, I always liked them too, I wish they had been on the white '62 Grand Prix we had use of for a couple of years. That car had what I've determined to be '58 Pontiac wheel covers on the back wheels, and '62 wheel covers with the nice detailing where the flippers would go. And for some reason, I thought the spinners on this '67 Catalina were curved. Bad eyesight, I shouldn't be driving either.
