We just picked up the wagon today. The weather was so bad this winter, I just now had a clear/clean chance to pull it home.
Here are some pictures from today. The car is very dirty since it was in storage at the shop. Its tough to clean a long roof that has holes in the roof and on all sides!
Plenty of pics to make up for lost time.

How much money have you spent on the car's restoration so far?
I over spent by many thousands on mine.

As I expected when I started, more than I expected!

I have to admit that it would be more than double if I had not done most of the work myself.

Now the work begins! Good stuff Doc. I'd get a nice shop manual book holder, cause all the fussy stuff is going to need some really specific info that often cross references others. Looking really fine!:thumbs2:

I finally finished rebuilding the gauge cluster. I had just finished polishing the lens when it snapped in half. I had to start over with a really rough spare. Wet sanded in steps from 1000 to 2500 then Meguiar's Plastic X. Also you can see I replaced the original clock and the original tired speedometer with NOS ones.

Before: original tired gauges with perhaps over 194k miles?? TMU!
