    Well done Brian!

Don't know if you've got all the engine compartment decals or not, but the Decals PDF (page 8 of the Book's PDF) has them all, as made for your vintage. Regulators, Air Cleaner by engine size and/or HP, etc.

Got lucky and had one good core support body mount we swapped out of the LTD.
Below are the mounts before and after rebuilding and mounted to the car

This is the Before and during my attempted original dash repair. I used fexible medium bumper adhesive, bedliner for texture and vinyl paint for the top coat. I am trying this $25 repair to avoid the easy layover method.

I think its going to turn out fine!

Good to know about the materials. Looks like success is imminent. :)

Great Job Doc. I was stock piling some parts from my garage into by backyard shed, when I came across my dash. When I placed it in the shed it had no cracks, but now it has a slight crack right smack dab in the middle of it. I dunno if it was the kids, the wife, or the critters, but I too will have to repair mine. Can you please post some more detailed instructions on how you did it. (For example what kind of bumper epoxy, sand paper grit, etc.???) I just ordered 20, 13 oz cans of original blue interior paint from Dearborn Classics, that should arrive June 4th just in time for my vacation. I plan on cleaning and painting the entire interior from tan to blue that week. (We shall see how it goes) Thanks again for sharing your progress and keep up the great work!

Below are the products I used.

I came across a link that showed detail on the process I am attempting. The pictures in the earlier post only show the epoxy and sanding to 150 grit. I sadly was outbid on a perfect brown dash on ebay today!! I will make this one work.

Here is the site I credit for my attempt!

Dr. Brian, you ought to write to the Ford owner website and tell them about your restoration - would make an excellent article!

Keep up the fabulous work, Doc. Your attention to Ford detail is great! KK has a good point. I believe your car will find it's way to the inside of many mags when it's done. Be sure to keep all those photographic records!

Lots out of ford sites and forums out there, I'm guessing the other post was talking about lovefords.com (?)

I'd say you have a good shot at Legendary Ford Magazine too -- here's their website

Really beautifyl job, can't wait to see it finished, I'm sure you can't either :)

I have been busy installing the core/rad seals and firewall accessories.

Below are pitures of finally 600 grit sanding on the dash and two coats of truck bedliner paint. I need only to find vinyl paint that is close to the original dark brown. I am quite happy with how it turned out. Then the dash goes back in and off to final assebmly at Johnny Mocks Auto body. They are happy the car runs..its a tank to move!!
