Hi, I listed my 63 Country Sedan station wagon today on Craigslist, I am asking $1200 for it. I don't want to sell it but I haven't had any time to do much to it since I brought it home a few months ago and figure it will be a good project for some one. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks, Bill http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/2688390498.html
Bill, don't give up so soon. Many of us have cars and wagons we've had for years and haven't had time or money to work on them. These vehicles are getting harder to find in decent shape. later you may regret not having your wagon and will not be able to replace it for any price that close. If you have the room and can do it, just cover the wagon and let it sit awhile. Stick around.
Thanks for the comments and encouragement, I know the price seems pretty low, but this one is a project that had sat for ten years in the previous owners' driveway. I'm just glad I saved it just days before he was going to scrap it. It just doesn't look like I will get to it for a long, long time. My list of projects is long; I have my 70 Torino GT, 69 Mercury convertible, two Vintage travel trailers, a historic 1916 home to keep from falling down, a shop to finish, to top that off my whole neighborhood is getting dug up starting next year for a Dept. of Ecology cleanup so I am going to need to put anything outside into storage. I'm 37 years old and have enough stuff to do until retirement ! Besides, My wife wants a GM product as the next "old car" as she puts it, preferably an early 70's Blazer. I know I will kick myself for selling this, I hope I can afford to buy a real nice, cool wagon down the road. Thanks, Bill
To bad you have to sell, I also think you are MORE than fair with your price. I tampered with one of your pics, looks as if it could have been taken ..back in the day.
That's a steal for a rare and stylish wagon. Man, sorry you have to sell it Bill, I remember this story well. Sure hope someone here snaps that up since you have to let it go! This may be the buy of the year.
Bill....you should probably list this wagon in the Station Wagons & Parts for Sale section too. That way it will hang around in our for sale section for people searching for a wagon like this. Although, I don't expect that wagon to last long.
Bill last visited the site here in May of this year. You should send him a PM. He'll get a notice of it in his E-mail in-box.
