This one has been for sale for over a year, and is down to $850!
If I was on the west coast, it would be in my garage by now, on the way to a VW TDI or Subaru transplant. Oh man, I want it.

Neat little wagon. What's that under the carport? An Isetta?

I was wondering about that, too, Saf. Old Mini Cooper? I don't know much about the old Euro cars....or even the new ones, for that matter. Funny thing is....I have actually SEEN one or two of those in my life but never questioned what they were. I thought they were Minis.

I imagine it's another Borgward of some sort, since I believe it's being sold by these guys.

Thats one of the Fiat 600s that the new retro styled Fiats are designed to resemble.

Thanks. I wondered, it looked kind of familiar, but not one I'd seen any time recently.

I would need to be related to a Borgward mechanic and parts distributor, in order for something like this to ever be a practical consideration. However, it does look like it would make for a fun little wagon, especially with a newer and more powerful engine under the hood. I don't suppose the original engine had much more power than a riding lawn mower.

I wouldn't expect needing much maintenance and plenty of parts. Those cars were reliable, robust and were up there near Mercedes' leaugue
