I'm thinking about selling my 1960 Mercury Commuter Hardtop Wagon.

It's a 9 passenger. They are pretty rare to come by. The only one I've ever seen in person is the one I have. I have two other cars that need their engines rebuilt. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. One less car might help me out.

The engine was professionally rebuilt this past year. All of it. The carb, water pump, starter, fuel pump,... The transmission was completely rebuilt, and finished on 11/29/16. I drove the car home, and it shifts great.

The tires are also new, and the entire brake system. I have not had a chance to replace the gas tank, but I have a new one I'm including. I was lucky enough to find an original in like new condition. The cardboard headliner is not up, but I have the panels. I also have new rear bumper ends.

Although this is the lower model wagon, it has factory AC which gives you the all chrome dash. It also has power rear window, and power front seat.

I'm thinking $7,000 obo. If you're interested, feel free to contact me. Thanks

I agree. But wouldn't she be a real looker when she was done?

That is a cool wagon. With fresh black paint it would really look stunning.

That Mercury wagons are beyond cool and rare. I would prefer a 59 if you maybe have one for sale...

A forum member owns a nice one, but I don't think he's selling.
    That's his '59 Squire, too.
