Information kits for your specific vehicle. I got one for my '46 back when they were free. The good old days.

Some good reading for this rainy day, Bill. Thanks.

Not much went on with the car this week - the shop was pretty busy after the Labor Day weekend... may I share with you something Dave treated himself to last week? We are losing our minds, I guess... but now he has a birth-year car of his very own.

We have to stop buying cars now. Nowhere to put any more.

Ha! That's awesome. You two have really embraced this hobby together. Good for you.:dancing::dance:
I'd like to see /hear more about this when you can. Those resources I posted will be useful for this car too. Big congratulations to Dave. I'm very happy for him.

Very cool car. I remember them years ago in the '60's and '70's. A convertible makes it extra special.

Hi, folks. It's been a little while but here's a little update. The car was removed from the frame yesterday, the floor pan has been primered, and parts that we've ordered are being delivered. They're creating a good-sized pile in the customer waiting area. The dual fans are in, as is the radiator, and I don't know what else! Engine should be delivered next week. Meanwhile, work will begin to get the frame inspected and painted, as well as painting the engine compartment.

Heh - I'm not sure where the watermelon in the first pic is supposed to go. Don't recall ordering that.

Excellent progress and parts pile. The body off frame really illustrates how weak and vulnerable the car is along the sides eh. Prolly not much you can do to the frame. Nature of the beast. Still is awesome to see it so completely apart.
How about some info, pics of Dave's new, old car. You can email that to me if you don't want to post convertible pics here on a station wagon forum.

Nice progress on the car. Frame off is the only way to go IMO.
