Beautiful Car. I wonder who special-ordered it when new. There used to be one of these not far from me. It had been disassembled and put in a barn. The guy tried to sell it to me a few times. It came with a running/driving Fleetwood to use for parts. He wanted $40k for everything. That was many years ago. It would have been a BIG project to put back together. I looked through all the photos on the dealer's website. There wasn't one single photo of the rear cargo area with the tailgate down. Makes me wonder if the window is working. That add-on AC unit better be pretty powerful if it's going to cool the inside of that car. All that glass would make the task nearly impossible on a hot day. 1956 was the first year Cadillac offered the 365V8 and the PARK option on the transmission selector. Up until then, you shut the car off while still in DRIVE, pulled it all the way down to the right to put it in REVERSE, then set the parking brake. It was also the last year for the P38 tailfins. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2664730912...uid=o9-poCnLTli&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY https://www.aaronruskin.com/details/used-1956-cadillac-deville/96332793
It looks to me as if the rear doors are power and the front doors have window cranks? Anyone know about this?
Interesting. Maybe it’s easier for the kids to roll down in the back? My kids (8,9) have yet to master the manual windows in my truck
