I'll bet there will be a lot of us slobbering on our keyboards over this one. Doesn't say what comes with it or how nice anything is. But it's a great shell and a price most could afford as a starter project. Depends on the trim, inside, etc. on the finished cost. :thumbs2:

This isn't what it appears to be......

Seller is calling this a "'56 Buick Caballero 2-door (hardtop) station wagon"

The 'Caballero' 4-door hardtop wagon was only built for model years '57 and '58. The roof construction for the Buick wagons in '57 and '58 was significantly different from the '56 wagon models.

Now I don't know whether this vehicle started out as a 4-door wagon and had the side 2-door hardtop stuff grafted on, or visa-versa, but these two '56 Buicks below are what this wagon is made out of. I wouldn't call it a 'Caballero' by any means.......

    Good catch, KK.

    Boy, do I feel stupid...
I didn't even notice the missing rear door, let alone the wrong "D" pillar!

For comparison sake, this is a REAL Caballero:

Looks like somebody was planning to build a Buick Nomad...

That's what we get for not looking closer. Of course for me I was only dreaming anyway. It still could be a decent custom wagon. Just not worth near as much when finished. It could be a one off Buimad or Buifari. :rofl2:
