    A beauty. Ad says "The selling dealer reports that the clutch will occa1sonally come out of second gear if not engaged fully." whatever that means, and that the temp and speedo gauges do not work. Sounds like a construction project with an ignored punch out list. Have fun with the 4 wheel drum brakes.

    Yes as they used to say in Texas. All hat and no cattle. Sounds like the previous owner was more interested in it being pretty at a car show then how he got to the show. Agreed that this sounds like a multiple of issues that need to be addressed post purchase. And sadly again like we’ve talk here before. You better like the owners taste. Personally I’d pass.

    Yeah who needs a Temp gauge or working Speedo in a classic car! I guess you can use your navigation system for the speed, but I always want to be able to monitor the engine temp!

    I also do not care for the colors on an otherwise nice looking Sedan Delivery

    "Worn synchros" comes to mind as the root of the problem, meaning the tranny has to come out to have it fixed. Not exactly a cheap or easy fix.
