    Hi folks,
Just joined! I live in Suffolk in the UK. Always liked US cars and I've lined up on a Plymouth Fury Sport Suburban Wagon that I'm hoping to secure in the next few days. If you don't hear much from me you know the deal fell through! US wagons are quite rare here and I'm wondering how I'll cope with one and left hand drive, but hey how difficult can it be? We'll see. Also run a BMW 320i saloon, and a VW Caddy Sport pick up. Drive carefully folks!

Welcome and good luck on the wagon deal Rusty. Even if you don't get this one we expect to hear more from you in the future. Stop in visit, look around, and enjoy the group.

:Welcome: I have friends from the UK; Rugby England to be exact and the visited us in Florida and loved being driven around in our 64 Acadian Station Wagon (or Estate as they called it). Stu has commented how awesome it would be to own a classic North American wagon in the UK. Best of luck getting that one and post pics of it when you do!

    Got it.....

    Hi folks,
Well we've arrived home in Suffolk after picking up the Plymouth from the North near the Welsh border. Quite a few issues to look into so I guess I'll be searching the forums for advice soon. Driving wasn't as daunting as I thought it might be but I took it steady and carefully. Wasn't very heavy with my right foot to try to help with the cost of fuel. It's parked on the driveway and seems to be catching the eyes of passers - by, probably wondering what sort of lunatic would buy a yank barge like that. Ho - Hum.

Looks like a nice clean and straight wagon. Have fun with it. I'm sure it will attract a lot of attention.

Wow, it looks great! That is HUGE by UK standards, unless you are a big truck/lorry driver by trade you may feel a bit sketchy in town in tight streets. Enjoy your new to you car!
