He stole my car.....

90Merc stole my Colony and heres a pic with MY PLATES on it to porove it!


For the newer members that don't know...Owen flew from New Jersey to Vancouver Island Canada and bout this one owner black on red 90 Colony Park to then drive it home over 3000 miles trouble free!

I mailed him a set of corect plates for the wagon (for car shows), the plates were on my old Fox Merc wagon, I think it's fitting that they stay with a not just a Merc but a Island Merc

The only bummer...Owen only found the forum after he was home with the car, so we never did meet.

 

Very cool. The internet's an amazing thing, isn't it? First of all, if it didn't exist, 90Merc probably would never have found his car and secondly, never would've gotten correct plates for it. A wonderful thing, for sure.

Hey guys - It is a great story all the way around. Thanks to Tedy for the Island-correct plates. My friends thought I was nuts to go out to Victoria, sight-unseen, and buy the wagon on the spot. The former owner and I struck up a phone friendship first, though, so I just had a good sense that everything would work out. The CP has already won a sponser's choice trophy in July at the 8th Annual Liberty Hose Red Bank Firefighter Car show in memory of former Chief Doc Holiday, Red Bank NJ. I admit that I'm goofy for the car and I plan to keep this beauty for a long, long time.

 

And now I wait 90 knows what I'm doing but.....My honey knows those plates, we had them for 10 years....She does'nt know I sent them to Owen....I'm not working, so I'm not suposed to $pend.....I'm going to email the pic to her at work later in the day and say "GUESS WHAT I BOUT TODAY, I GOT A GREAT DEAL, ONLY $4000",can't wait till you get home!

I just realized.......this is goina make her really want to kill me, no BS, last nite we sold 3 Celicas in a package deal ca$h in my hand so my pocket if full of change, she's gona think I blew it all and then $ome!:2_thumbs_up_-_anima

........OH when the pay back happens, I may not know how I'm gona die, but at least I now who will kill me, in a sick way I find that comforting!. My Honey though BS and I had some one photo shop it. I allmost had her convinced but....., I had to tell her, it was all in fun and thats exactly how it ended BUT I Sure had Her Going for a moment!.....now I await for the payback, she will kill me one day soon and feed me to the dogs I'm sure

 

maybe with the extra money...go drag the clown out of the mud!!!

 

You have a good thought, but I've walked away from the Clown after all the BS. I hav'nt even driven by it since my final last contact....or should I say trying to contact.
