I realize this wagon is "for sale" but it will soon be sold and I thought it was interesting enough to put in the main section just to look at, not necessarily to show others that it's for sale.

It is cool, it also has been for sale for a very long time. This wagon has to be in the top 10 of same car getting posted over and over. I still like it and don't mind seeing it again

Seller is a dealer in San Jose, CA. I believe. Yup - he's had it for sale for years. Parts i don't like: Manual windows and a crappy upholstery job. I don't even think the front seat units are original T-Bird items. Also, the rear plexiglas hatch is kinda micky-moused.

I was waiting for some one to mention the window cranks, I don't think any one could understand why you would do all this customizing and leave hand crank windows?

I think it's more Goofy than Mickey....maybe Dumbo? That hatch ruins the whole vibe for me.

I believe the hand crank is for the vent windows. Some of the high-end Fords were like that.

If the seats were redone in matching green leather or decent cloth and a real rear glass hatch were installed it would look nice. I like it otherwise for around $20,000.:thumbs2:

All things considered, I wouldn't kick it out of my driveway. :D

I really like the dash and console.

That car keeps turning up like a bad penny.:slap:
    It has manual windows.
The power window switches go in the same place as the window cranks.
I learned to drive in my grandfather's '62 T-Bird that he bought new.:)

Yup. I had a '62 T-Bird for a while. Power windows were OPTIONAL. The vent windows just had the lever-latch thingy.

Eh, for the reasons already stated.
Conspicuously absent are photos of the rear compartment interior. Probably looks like an old hippie van back there. Whadaya think is under that vintage steering wheel cover?
Cheesy interior speaks volumes about the owners willingness to make it nice.

Not a good enough excuse. New and better kits are ayailable. Power windows giye cars class and make rolling the passenger window down easier for the driyer.
