Wire checking is easy.. looks like you need to remove the plastic cover on top of the motor and your wires and plugs should be right there...
Couldn't hurt.. probably tell you which cyl has the misfire. (should have said this first) You can also check the coils by pulling the plug wire...
Means you have a cylinder that isnt firing. Either its getting too much gas and can't fire, no spark and can't fire or theres not enough...
Burning smell? Check your antifreeze level asap to see if its down and oil to see if that's down or milky You never want to drive a misfiring...
You'd need the codes read. Could be anything from a bad valve, head gasket failure between cylinders, bad injector, bad spark plug, coil pack...
