I love this car. Here's JohnnyK's most recent auction where, again, reserve was not met..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0583358616&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT How much is this car worth?
All the recent maintenance cost him $1,800, so figure he's really asking $4,300. That's pretty decent. Upgraded AC on that would cost a condenser and dryer at least, plus installation. I think its fair enough.
The first time this car was on eBay it went up around 5K and then disappeared because it was going to Brussels but that fell through. When it came back there was a price of $9K on it. I don't KNOW what he wants now. He just turned down $6400.
Nice car, but the fact that it's not meeting the reserve should tell the seller something. No 'Got to have it!' buyers......
then there buyers like me, that don't even look at the one's that have reserve price on them. a seller that put reserve price on there listing, is just a waist of time for me and time is money.
I have seen some sellers that put an initial very reasonable reserve on a vehicle, just to make sure they don't lose their shirt. They usually at least make a few hunnert above the reserve.
THEY could just put the starting bid at the price there looking to make and stop the game of a so called low reserve. I have made more money that way ,than wasting time of putting a reserve .
