When I first read that I assumed he meant he needed between $5 and $10,000 in which case yes this car should yield somewhere in that range.
Here's my theory. The guy posting the ad is the mother's crack head boyfriend and is selling the neighbors car down the street for more crack money. Even if he only gets the deposit he wins. Then he can relist the car on Craigslist once he's banned from ebay. But, I'm giving him too much credit for even conceptualizing the whole plan. He was raised in the woods by a racoon family and picked up english by accident so he's a fairly good writer now, especially when you realize that the racoons only speak racoon. Yea, that's the ticket.
