That is one Smokin' Hot Wagon. I wish I'd win the damn lottery for cryin' out loud.

Impressive, KK, very impressive. I'm going to show my brother, who's 4 years older than me and was quite the fan of Sky King, this pic and ask him the same question. I'll see if he can come up with the correct answer. What color was their's?

Marshall. Don't know how those pix got on Craigslist! CAVIOT EMPTOR if you're thinking about chasing that one! That Wagon belongs to John Lazenby! One of the 4 car-buds I spoke of about doing the Route 1 Run. Their aren't two like that on the planet, let alone two in So-Cal. WELLLL MAYBE. LOUIS B. MAYER had one thats out there somewhere but what are the odds? I doubt that Beauty will even make the auction even when John goes toes up.

hmmmmm....I've seen this car (one like it?) awhile back in a different setting but a similar setting. It was for sale then and it was considerably less than the 40K someone here guessed it may be priced at. It does seem too coincidental that there might be two with such a beautiful resto done. OTOH, that color combo was quite popular for that car. This could be a real sale or maybe just a feeler to see its market worth. If I lived anywhere near this wagon I would have to seriously consider stealing it.:yup: :D

Yeah - I remember seeing one like it a while back. Wish I could consider it, BigBarney, but it's not even in my league. If I still lived in Orange, CA, I would certainly go look at it and drool a bit.......

    Orange aye?

Marshall, You probably saw John's car. He lives within walking distance of Disneyland in Anaheim, and it had a front page picture and nice artical written in Cars and Parts Mag. a year or year and a half ago. BTW, I waz cruisin' Whittier Blvd. from Beach to Atlantic when that '55 waz new! I've only been in Michigan 48 yearz! (don't ask) The Craigslist '55 is most likely the other one out there. It surfaced 3-4 years ago. Louis B'z or Cecil B'z car? One ah them old movie dudes out there. Hard to believe anyone with that ride would go fishing on Craigslist tho'! I'd sooner expect to see it in Mesa in January at Mr. Jacksons Circus!

The one I saw for sale that was either this car or one exactly like it was within the past year. In looking at this car in & out....I would have to guess that it was this car.
