No Reserve: 1978 Ford Pinto Cruising Wagon 4-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - ending August 2 (Lot #115,474) | Bring a Trailer I like it better than the recent white one.
LOVE it! My only change on this would be to substitute the little 13" wheels and tires for a more aggressive set of 15" wheels/tires. Not sure which though. Keep the 13-inchers in storage......
I agree I think it is AWESOME! I could live with the 13" wheels, depending on tire availability. To me those white walls have to go! They just don't look good on that car and those wheels.
In looking at the window sticker I think it originally had RWL radials. A raised white letter tire might be cute, but I don’t mind the white walls. Bet this brings a pretty penny. $5,800 seemed kind of spendy back then. I think my dads ‘78 Colony Park was in the $7 neighborhood.
I just saw a YouTube short of a Bobcat Squire, ‘77 at a Meechum auction in Las Vegas that went for $25,000. It was a 37,000 mile car in top shape, but C’mon Man.
This is the highest bid Vega (since looking up Pintos decided to look at that) No Reserve: 1976 Chevrolet Vega Kammback Estate for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $11,750 on June 15, 2022 (Lot #76,136) | Bring a Trailer Sold $11,750. There are some Cosworth Vegas that went for more, but this si highest wagon. Funny that also orange
Right? But honey it’s your favorite color and we can sell it for more than we paid for it when junior goes to college!
