How serious is that rust in the jumper seats?

Yeah, accidentally hidden I’m sure. But that right front quarter if you zero in on it is also harboring some nastiness. No way that’s a 19,000 mile car. I’d sure love to see some under belly shots of that car.

I don't know man, I've been around loads of garage kept cars that are sub-50k miles and they definitely present WAY differently than a 150k or 250k car. This one I suspect is 119k at the least, even if it sat in a garage for 30 years (it's 50+ years old now). The front fender definitely has some dents to sort out and the rear quarter shows plenty of marks on it showing it has sat where it's gotten wet regularly.

And also, once a car gets left to the elements it doesn't matter if it's 19k or 519k miles, it all deteriorates into junk.

Fair enough. I agree that once rust and other problems start, their fate can be sealed. Plus I don’t know why, and I mean no offense, Ohio cars can add another layer of complexity. Being from Missouri, and most recently Chicago, those areas are devastating on cars. I have said it before living in the Southwest now I’m totally spoiled. Interiors can be problematic, but if that Country Sedan were in a garage out here for 30 years it would look quite a bit different.
