No Reserve: 1967 Pontiac Executive Safari Station Wagon for sale on BaT Auctions - ending March 4 (Lot #99,997) | Bring a Trailer This has been on BAT before Reserve not met on 12/6/22 at $15,000
Didn’t elB or someone look into this car and it sold like a year or so ago in the $20’s? Gonna be interesting to see what it brings, or if it will even sell.
Yeah, I didn't look at it but I did comment on how it was a nice example of a car that hasn't been modified much at all (lots of shiny-cleaner-stuff under the hood to make it look nice) but ultimately it didn't have many options and was a hard justification of the $20-25k reserve the seller wanted. I think it sold for like $15k and they should have taken it in my opinion...
Here was thread on it from late 2022 1967 Pontiac Executive Safari | Station Wagon Forums It sold in 2021 for $10,750
BAT may not be perfect, but must admit their no reserve auctions give us a real market value. My guess on this Safari is $10,000. Can't wait to see how wrong I am.
Honestly I hope it sells for $8,800. Not cause it’s a bad car, but if some of these flippers get the butts burned a few times they’ll hopefully wise up. That might be wishful thinking, but I hold out hope. Even if it sells for the exact same money the winner is BAT. 8% of the sale on each side ain’t a bad $1,600 payout for posting the sellers same pictures from the last 4 auctions and facilitating the sale/buy. I have the feeling if this thing languishes the sellers brother is gonna have a new wagon.
