Looks like the edge of the fender got rolled down somehow?

 

Or the hood is buckled?

 

It looks like someone slammed the hood down on a mechanic's head or neck. It was probably used as a prop, during a World Wrestling Federation episode

 

Probably stiff hinges and it bent trying to close it. Hinges need periodic lubrication.

 

Or maybe it “fell” on Grandma. That accidental $15,000 death benefit would pay off the wagon, and set Grandpa up with a nice annuity. It’s dirty, and the picture angle, and time of day couldn’t have better to catch that warped hood.
