I believe that golden/glow color was actually an extra cost color along with light jade metallic. I had a ‘77 that color. These are really nice cars. Maybe not this one, but in general. Lol.

Just my opinion, but other than the bottom of the tailgate and the rear bumper, this car looks pretty solid. It deserves to be saved. For $1,500 I'd give it a home. ;)

Yeah and that’s OBO. Bet if you went in there with a wad of 10-12 hundred dollar bills you’d be tugging a Ford home. If I were closer to New Franklin Ohio, I might make a trip to look at this thing. Living in the Southwest for the last 25 years, I’ve just gotten real gun shy of cars from that part of the country. That being said agree it should be saved. Sadly at the price I would hope it’s not derby bait.

Yeah, for us barrel-scraping easterners that's about as good as you could as for, for a project car. It appears to be very solid and the price is right, so come on dowwwwwwnnn! But that's what I fear too is some derby schlub will buy this thing just to trash it. :nailbiting: That thing is WAY too nice to be a derby smasher.

Yup. Hope it’s a future member here, and we don’t see it at the weekend carnival. For the condition it was in that truly was a good buy. No visible rust on the panels. It’s funny even though I would never have bought it. I was thinking in my mind I had everything extra that car needed including all the lights front and rear and even a grill and bumper. Even have the hubcaps. Lol.

I never got to see the pictures. The ad was down before I could get to it. And yes, I agree about the weekend carnival! Especially if it is masquerading as a truckster

Or in a row of other cars under the truckster. I really hope it’s not destined to derby hell. Sad if he would have scrubbed it up I bet he would have doubled his money.
