I'm not sure if it's quite worth $18,000, but it looks like a good honest car and boy, is it ever refreshing to see a nice car with what I assume to be its original straight six in it! These days I find it much more interesting to see a car that hasn't been V8 or LS swapped. Not every car has to be a V8 and sometimes originality is cool.
Wish the seller had given more information on the wagon - like what's the transmission? Seems it used to have a column-shift that's now been replaced by a floor-shift...........something. I like the fact that it has the optional 230 cubic-inch six. It performed a lot better than the standard 194 cubic-inch 6, and probably equaled it in gas mileage.
I don't know if it still has the original engine in it, but the I6 it has in it has Clifford intake, a small 4bbl carb, either shorty headers or split exhaust manifold, and what looks to be a HEI Dist. Definatly was a column shift manual trans car. The ad says it is now an automatic trans, I am thinking an air cooled power glide has been put in it.
