Hilarious !!!!!

 

The strong bidding on this 1979 Mercedes is kind of surprising to me. Up to $15k and reserve not met. Where will it top out?

 

Non-turbo means painfully slow acceleration.

 

And the AC does not work.

 

And what else was considered too expensive to maintain/ repair ? IMO seller is making a mistake not repairing a/c even if it is in the $1,000s to do so. One thing to try and sell a cheap old car with no a/c but a nice MB wagon is probably going to attract a different kind of buyer.

 

Really it probably needs the exact same as my 85 when I bought it, new o-rings, dryer & expansion valve along with a flush then recharged. Also I don't like the way the oil separator in the breather is bypassed

 

Ended at $14,600 with reserve not met.
