A mess, and worth every penny. Mileage is listed as 30,000, and it has surely rolled over once, if not twice. Located in Buffalo, the salt-using capital of the world, so the undercarriage is certainly in fine shape. In fact, this car has so much going for it, I'm surprised I haven't already bought it. His BIN price is a very optimistic $2250, but he does have a "make offer" button. If he gets more than $1000 for it, he'll have done well.
Wasn’t this car up a few months ago on a lot in the Buffalo area. I remember that interior. Yeah it’s kinda a mess. Hope he does well.
As bad as this car looks the dash does not seem to be cracked. Maybe some squareback owner would want it for interior parts.
Good point. Body and trim parts, interior or exterior, are not reproduced for any of the box-era ('77 to '90) GM wagons, and this one does have a clean interior. As a parts car for restoration of another one, if you could get this for $500 or so, it would be a good buy. Of course, for the interior, while some parts can be painted, you'd probably be better of the car you're restoring is also red.
Heck, I could use the side moldings. Could not find them years ago and have not thought to look again.
Interesting parts vehicle (my own opinion) with that 403 in there! If I where pondering a swap for my 65.....?.....Longroofs Rule!
I agree on the parts car definition. But whats on the other side of the street? Looks more interesting. Also a Sedan in front of it.
The Blue Estate Wagon across the street looks like a 85 - 90 Caprice or 85 - 89 Pontiac, going by 1: the wire hubcap; 2: the side mirror; 3: it doesn't have the angled back front headlights that Buicks had. It also seems to have a light on the lower fender but it doesn't look stock; why's it so square? It also seems to have a slight air dam which I like.
I think it’s another Olds. I think it’s that Charcoal grey color from ‘85-‘86. Not sure when, if ever Olds went to the sport mirrors that seem to be on this one. You sure see a lot more chrome mirrors on the Olds models. As a matter of fact the mirrors don’t appear to be the same color as the body. But that could be lightning. It’s got a new rear tire whatever it is. That light you’re referring to, I think is a cornering lamp.
I wish someone could save this wagon for the parts! A thousand dollars is pushing it for that purpose but then you would get a derbyist that would snap it up and then all those parts end up in a pile behind the derbyist garage. Hope the wagon finds some new life in whatever capacity!....Longroofs Rule!
