I like his strategy. Brilliant if not executed on eBay. It has one of those prices you see at car corrals where the wife says ‘get rid of it’ and the hubby says ‘no problem, i’ll take it to the car corral this weekend...’ or Carlisle or Daytona Turkey Run.... Then you overprice it so no one will buy it. I see a lot of grossly overpriced cars and I think it is just an excuse for the guy to get out of the house for the weekend, hang out at a car show, and not sell the car! Look at it this way, if you wanted to go to Carlisle for the weekend and check out cars and hang out, how often does the wife say ‘no way’ or ‘only if I get X’? Now, if you plan is to get rid of a car she sees hates, she is all in. I like how he thinks. But ebay? You don’t get a weekend out of the house hanging out with car guys doing that. Maybe he has already done too many car corrals and the wife is starting to think he isn’t trying.
You'd make a great marriage couselor. Or are you that already? You seem to know all there is to know about keeping happily married couples from going after each other's throats
Lots of experience. I feel like I’m out of touch with society being married 25 yrs to only one person and I got all my cars.
