Forum members may recall this very nice '77 Olds CC posted on CL in the Bay Area a while back, as well as on BAT:

Don't know if the owner ever found a buyer, but it looks like this wagon has met an untimely end according to the VIN and this post on Hemmings. I hope someone resurrects this wagon. It'd be a shame to see it go to the crusher:

Why untimely? All it needs is a door

    The front door's dented too.

It could be bumped out. The door frame isn't damaged like the one behind it. If a replacement front door is readily available, that would be even better

    That auction is To-Day.

I'm thinking Ricardo Montalban in ST2:TWOK:

between the Delta 88 and wagons I wouldn't think it would be impossible to find door replacements

My guess would be that a truck backed into it and then booked

Woo-wee I hope I've got all these details right:

The 77-79 Olds CC utilizes the Chevrolet body (including doors); 80-up is the Olds-specific body. I think this means that )(to MAK's point) there are lots of Chevrolet doors out there to pick from too.

The 1977-79 4-door doors skin should work for the GM full-size Chev/Pont/Olds/Buick 4-door sedan or wagon.

    Am I wrong?

You're probably right, but to restore it, you'd have to find an Olds wagon door with the raised rivets (?) that hold the trim strip. By way of comparison, the rear door on the '79 Buick Estate wagon for sale up thread would work, but it wears its di-noc wood siding higher than this Olds, as does the '77-79 Caprice Estate and Grand Safari.

The auction site says "future sale," so I don't think this has been put up for bid yet.
