Thought this sounded tremendous for the price, until I read it has not been started/moved since 2015. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-car...le/1344742528?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
3 years is nothing, if it was stored indoors! If it was on my island I'd be all over it, that is until I read the ad....... out of Alberta i never registered here = it will need full inspection witch, you mite as well just leave a blank check unless there is heavy documentation of not just maintenance, but replaced parts. They will nit pick everything! There is also a very grey area if seller has not even registered it in BC ( You can register it, but can't get tags/plates until inspection...but once registered you can get temporary permits so to drive it to get inspected..... you literally could just keep buying temporary permits for years without question, just 10 days at a time.... expensive but.... ) If the seller has not registered it... well the government is going to want a paper trail, so now you are a third party buyer, you may ( most likely will) have to track down who ever in Alberta last owned it/registered it and get them do all the paper work for you over again. Far to many hoops top jump through and in the end you may just be stuck with a car you can't do anything with! Been there done that asking my insurance agent...."Bla, bla, bla, if you are going to by a car that has been sold to another from out of province, you can not register it under your (my) name unless last registered owner has signed the papers/title over to you ( me).... I'd need a notary to do the paper work = $, bla, bla, BLA, and Bla! And was mentioned that if after I get a notary involved I'd still have to pay them even if , "what if the last registered owner will not cooperate, or is dead and if dead that's another big can of worms opened" And I could never get a temp permit to drive it. Nice car, but this is not a good deal if it's still registered to someone else in a different province, a bill of sale is worthless! Seller would stand a better chance of selling if they did the paperwork, payed the taxes, registered it in there name, and then offered it clearly stating "Out of province car, needs BC inspection" to witch I still would be very learly .................... I don't even think the picture is of the actual car looking at the 'Automotivetravelor.com" water mark in the bottom corner........................ Sounds to good to be true, so..........................
I have had that EXACT photo on my PC as wallpaper for a few years now. I would definitely question whether that is even the car being advertised.
If that's the case, ethically I'd have to term it very deceptive, although I doubt it's legally actionable. No buying sight unseen here.
