Looks nice in the pics, IMO. Funny, I don't mind the aftermarket wheels on this one; maybe it's all the trim (which is aluminum or chrome?) at the wheels' level on this model.
I don't mind period correct after market wheels like those, it the modern Torque Thrust II's or 22" or larger anything I don't care for.
It's a '73....... The '73 Chrysler front end was pretty ugly, compared to the years before and the years after...... 1972: 1974:
I think the '73 Krash listed above is actually a '72, but I don't know my Chryslers from that era very well.
I screwed up. Was one year off.......Ad is correct on the year of the wagon. I fixed the image to show a real '74 instead of a '75 (different grill pattern).
You're correct. The Sherwood green one is a '72. In fact, it's my car taken at a show we attended in June, 2000. For what it's worth, I think the particular '73 in question is a handsome car. It's probably the color. Some years of T&C look great in any color, while other years only look good in certain colors. Similarly, the Cragars, although not my first choice, look ok on this car, while most other aftermarket wheels look ridiculous to me.
I think I ran into the new owner of this one on a FB wagon page. After buying it, he drove it all the way home to the Los Angeles area from Cincinnati.
