That woodgrain sure looks clean. You'd think they could wipe down and clean the interior and seats. That would go a long way, trying to get that price.
On the LTD 4 door that I removed a dash pad from, those same plastic pieces were broken. And someone had done their best to try and repair them. Being stored outside? The heat and other elements? People pushing and pulling on them, putting their weight on them, etc? 77-79 T-birds and Cougars also have similar plastic trim pieces on the door panels that the arm rests sit on, which are also very prone to "breakage".
This '78 LTD Landau looks like a tremendous part resource, and not too pricey. http://holland.craigslist.org/cto/5970729025.html
So many of these cars are pictured with dirt, dust, leaves and crap all over the inside of the car. I never get that because if I were selling a car I would clean it first. So many of these look like the owner just doesn't care.
Now listed with HMN. Seller says the wood grain is new. If he went to that expense but did not replace the armrests, I'd say he could not find replacements. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/ford/country-squire/1914711.html
Possible great donor car. Although we don't see the interior. Useable hood ornament anyway. Also has correct wheel covers for 1975-78 LTD. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/5957998649.html
