Too bad he couldn't put up more than one photo, but it looks like it could be good car for the price.

Looks to have every 1988 factory option and still not unreasonable for $1995.

I called about this on Friday and he still has it. I'm going to look at it tomorrow. The guy says it was repainted and has "a little rust". Price seems fair and he says the interior is in great shape.

So I went today to look at this wagon.
It needs a fair amount of work.
Car sat for awhile according to the guy that's selling it.
He bought it and the woodgrain was in bad shape so he had the car repainted. The paint job was not good. Parts of the chrome trim were painted over. Lots of spots where the new paint was thin and also many spots where the body wasn't smooth. You could tell where the rust repair was. And there were parts of the old woodgrain visible.
Battery was dead and he jumped it off. Started up. Run a little rough at first. The exhaust is missing from about the rear axle back. The tires were dry rotted. The headliner was missing. The interior over wise was in decent shape.
Air Cond didn't work. Door locks locked but didn't unlock.
The exhaust had a tinge of a sweet smell which makes me worry about it needing a head gasket.

The guy selling it suggested I trailer it home. Stated he didn't drive it very far in town. He has it towed everywhere.
Overall the car wasn't that bad, but it would need a tune up
    new tires
    new exhaust
    And new paint.
Way to much work for me at this moment.
I thought about offering the guy $1000 for it as it sits, but wasn't sure it would be worth it to sink all that money into it. I wouldn't want to be upside down in it when I wa done.
Anyone have thoughts on what it's worth?

    Sounds like a $600 car.
