    It looks pretty good from the front left ... not so good from the rear. Is that strap holding the bumper on, or holding the roof rack on?

    I'd guess the bumper. Suggests serious rust issues with the bumper, where it mounts, or both.

    Square bodied Squires have always been my favorites. Here is a 1964 with the same color combination as yours.
